The Run Across South Carolina

I am the Lead DP on an ongoing documentary highlighting Ryan Cass, Jake Engelke, and Ed Martins, who raised over $20,000 for families with loved ones actively battling cancer through the Breaking Ribbons Charity, founded by Ryan Cass.
The documentary follows the trio as they ran 194 miles across the state of South Carolina, from Fort Mill, SC to The Citadel in Charleston, over the course of three days. I spent the entire journey embedded with the team in a sprinter van, documenting the run while also assisting with crewing and logistics in real time.
I live-documented the journey on Instagram (@nfbmedia) in collaboration with the runners, sharing still photography and short video updates to help promote the charity and amplify fundraising efforts in real time. I am currently leading the post-production editing process, with collaboration from assistant DP and assistant editor Nate Bendzlowicz.
